How NEXORA Connect Works

NEXORA Connect is a space for meeting people, building relationships and creating meaningful connections.

Unlike the normal NEXORA marketplace, Connect is built around people rather than products.

Dating — Relationships and romantic connections.

Friendship — Meet new people and build genuine friendships.

Professional — Networking, collaborations and career connections.

Business — Connect with founders, partners, suppliers, investors and other business people.

Your activities inside Connect are designed to remain separate from normal marketplace activity.

Using NEXORA Dating

Dating is the most private and controlled part of NEXORA Connect. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Dating profile.

Create Your Dating Profile

Your Dating profile is separate from your normal NEXORA profile. When joining Dating, you provide your display name, date of birth, gender, who you are interested in, location, relationship intention, a description about yourself, interests, Dating preferences and Dating profile photos.

Dating profiles support between 3 and 8 profile photos. You can also choose a preferred age range, location preference, relationship intention and whether you only want to see identity-verified profiles.

Identity Verification

NEXORA Dating includes identity verification to improve trust between members. When creating your Dating profile, you may be asked for National ID or passport information and a current selfie for NEXORA review.

Your identity documents are not part of your public Dating profile. Other Dating members should never see your submitted ID documents or private verification information.

If NEXORA approves the identity review, your Dating profile may display a verification indicator. Verification confirms that an identity review took place; it is not a guarantee of character, intentions or future behaviour.

Discover

Discover = NEXORA helps you find people.

Discover is the private profile-discovery experience. NEXORA considers your Dating preferences when deciding which eligible profiles can appear to you.

You can review a profile and decide whether you are interested. Expressing interest does not automatically open a conversation. The other person must respond first.

All

All = You explore people yourself.

All is the browsable Dating directory. It shows Dating members who voluntarily chose to make their profiles available there.

You can browse using filters such as All · Men · Women · Other, with additional filters such as age, location, verification or recently added profiles.

Tap a profile to see more information and available photos. Appearing in All is optional.

Private or Public — You Choose

🔒 Keep Private

Your profile is not listed in All. You can still use Discover, Interests, Matches and Chat. Keeping your profile private does not deactivate Dating.

✨ Show Me in All

Your Dating profile becomes browsable in All. Other Dating members can view your public profile information and photos and express interest in you.

Your identity documents, private verification information and other protected information remain separate. You can change this setting again when editing your Dating profile.

Expressing Interest

NEXORA Connect uses an interest-and-match system. Finding somebody attractive or interesting does not mean you have to message them immediately.

♡ Interested

A normal expression of interest. It tells the person you would like to connect.

🔥 Crush

A more playful and flirtatious way of expressing stronger interest.

✨ Super Crush

A higher-intent signal for somebody you particularly want to notice.

These actions still respect the matching process. Sending a Crush does not automatically open unrestricted messaging or expose private information.

Interests

Interests = People who have chosen you.

The Interests screen contains connection requests waiting for your response. A normal Interest can be declined or accepted with INTERESTED TOO.

A Crush may show 🔥 REVEAL MY CRUSH, while a Super Crush may show ✨ REVEAL & MATCH.

If you decline, a match is not created. If you accept, NEXORA creates a mutual match.

Matches

Matches = You both chose each other.

A Match means interest is mutual. It is different from somebody simply viewing your profile or expressing interest. Once accepted, the connection becomes an active NEXORA Connect match.

Chat

Messaging is built around mutual connections. Appearing in All or viewing somebody's photos does not automatically create a conversation.

This helps prevent All from becoming an unrestricted messaging directory.

Connect Notifications

NEXORA Connect has its own activity notifications for Connect-related events such as new interests, Crushes, Super Crushes, Matches, Dating verification updates and other important Connect activity.

Notifications are clickable and can take you directly to the relevant part of Connect. The notification area scrolls internally when many activities are available.

Editing Your Dating Profile

You can update your Dating bio, interests, preferences, location and photos after creating your profile.

Identity-verification evidence is protected after submission and is not ordinary editable public-profile information.

You can also switch between 🔒 KEEP PRIVATE and ✨ SHOW ME IN ALL.

Background Checks

NEXORA Connect includes a Background Check feature separate from the basic Dating identity-verification badge.

Where a background-check request requires payment, the configured fee is KES 2,500.

A background check is an additional information and safety tool. It is not a guarantee that somebody is safe, trustworthy or suitable for a relationship.

Blocking and Safety

You are never required to continue a connection you do not want. Use blocking and safety controls whenever necessary.

If somebody behaves inappropriately, pressures you, asks for suspicious payments, impersonates another person or makes you uncomfortable, do not continue simply because they have a profile, verification badge or background-check result.

What Verification Means

A NEXORA Dating verification badge means the profile has gone through the NEXORA identity-review process.

It does not mean NEXORA recommends the person, guarantees they are trustworthy or single, guarantees safe behaviour, or that you should send money, share private information or meet somewhere unsafe.

Verification is one trust signal—not a substitute for good judgement.

Meeting Someone

If you decide to meet somebody from NEXORA, meet in a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, arrange your own transport where possible, keep control of your belongings and avoid sending money because someone claims there is an emergency.

Never feel obligated to meet somebody simply because you matched. A Match means you both expressed interest. Nothing more is automatically implied.

Your Privacy

NEXORA Connect is designed around a simple principle: You decide how far a connection goes.

Being on Dating does not automatically mean being listed in All. Being visible in All does not automatically mean somebody can message you. Receiving an Interest or Crush does not create a Match automatically, and matching does not require you to meet.
